Host a hero day

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School held a 'Host a hero day'  and together, raised an incredible $2,313!

The fun-filled day allowed students (and teachers) to dress up as their favourite heros, and held a range of different fundraising activities.

Our gratitude to this entire school community cannot be put into words and we believe the Assistant Principal said it best "I'm so proud of our community"

School disco

St Angela's Primary School held a school disco in support of our Dance for Sick Kids campaign which is held in May each year.

The students all dressed up in their dance mufti outfits, grooved along during class sport, had a difference dance each day of the week during their morning assembly and ended their fundraising with a school disco.

Over the 3 years, they have raised an incredible $12,672 for seriously sick and injured kids and their families.

Thank you St Angela's for taking part in Dance for Sick Kids.

5-year old Lara and her family from Orange called Ronald McDonald House their home-away-from-home for 240 nights while Lara received treatment for Leukaemia.

"No words will ever be enough to say thank you to RMHC GWS. The place that housed our family for 9 months, so we could be metres from the hospital, provided us meals, a school program for Lara, room for our bous to come and stay, to keep our family together... it became our normal, our life. We'll never forget it"

-Stacey, Lara's Mum
