Help me support seriously ill children and their families!
I'm taking on this challenge to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney.
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Greater Western Sydney is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head to rest at night. RMHC believe that when a child is hospitalised, the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed.
I want to help keep families together, at a time when they need each other most. On average, it costs Ronald McDonald House Charities GWS $160 to support a family for one night, so please give generously.
Thank you for helping me make a difference for sick kids.

Aria’s Update
Saturday 3rd Jun Aria is recovering well.Aria’s Update
Saturday 20th MayHi everyone,
Many of you won’t know this as I’ve kept it rather private but here’s Aria’s Story so far…
When Aria was 2years old, she had a fall and I noticed a lump on her head. I took her to Gosford hospital and after an ultrasound, they told me it was just the shape of her skull and she was fine. At 3 and a half years old, I got it checked again as it felt bigger to me, but was told again, just the shape of her skull. Last year, Aria started getting headaches so when I took her again I asked for more than just an ultrasound. After a different scan, we got referred to the Cranial-Facial clinic in Westmead Childrens hospital.
Aria was diagnosed with a rare bone disease called Fibrous Dysplasia. Bone affected by this disease is replaced with abnormal scar-like (fibrous) connective tissue. This abnormal fibrous tissue weakens the affected bone, making it abnormally fragile, prone to fracture and abnormally grow into tumour like growths.
One side of Aria’s skull has been affected. It’s grown quite a bit which had started causing her headaches and eye pain.
The diseased part of skull was removed and replaced with an implant - she spent 5 nights in hospital with me by her side ❤️
Because of Archer’s needs and not being able to spend much time away from me, Archer, Bella and Peter stayed in the Ronald McDonald House at Westmead.
Finding out personally what they do for these seriously ill and injured children’s families is just amazing. It really is a home away from home.
Now that Riri is at home and on the mend, I was looking at ways to help this charity while also helping to spread awareness for the great work they do - so I’ve decided on 10kms a day for the entire month of June!
Without generous public donations, so much of this support to these children and their families wouldn’t be possible. Please have a read of their page and donate generously to this amazing place.
