Six Year Anniversary

I'm supporting the families of sick and injured kids ❤️

When a child is injured, or diagnosed with a serious illness, it affects the whole family. Lives can be turned upside down, and it puts families under enormous pressure. For many families, it can feel like it’s impossible to hold it together.

That’s why I am supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney. 

I want to ensure families can stay together, at a time when they need each other most.

On average, it costs Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney $160 to support a family for one night, so please give generously. 

Together with your support, we will make sure that even more famiies have access to a home-away-from-home when they need it.

Thomas First Birthday 🎂

Dearest family and friends 

Thomas had the best time celebrating his first birthday 🎂 with you all and thank you for coming to share the day with our amazing boy. 

You all know Thomas’s journey so far and we wouldn’t have got through it without the help of Ronnie’s House. This is why we wanted to help raise awareness and help share our gratitude to the place that kept us alive during the hardest time of our lives. 

We have stayed there 3 times for all of Thomas surgeries. From day one we felt safe and almost like a mental escape from all the beeping, dinging, flashing lights, tubes and cords glaring in your face 24/7 as we starred hopelessly at our sick little lad. 

The house provided a sense of normality which allows us to reset and think about all the challenges we were about to embark on. It also meant all four of us could be together and the two brothers were able to bond with one another. The short distance from the house to the ward meant I could run back shower, have a warm meal, sleep on a bed while Dan stay with Tommy in NICU and as soon as he woke up I would run back to the ward to breastfeed and comfort him. 

We can’t thank you enough 🙏 and what an amazing facility this is to keep families together.
