This February is very special for Ronald McDonald House in Westmead.

While others might be celebrating Valentine's Day, here at the House we are celebrating six years since opening our doors and of seriously sick and injured kids being supported.

To ensure we have the capacity to support families into the future, we are asking members of our community to show a little love and fundraise this February.

Simply create a fundraising page and share your experience of the House

"We know that we are in good hands - the best hands possible"

"Staying at Ronald McDonald House without paying for accommodation has been a huge relief for us. It's not just accommodation though, it is home-cooked meals, toys, books and climbing equipment for the kids.

Being around other families, being able to talk to other parents who are also struggling and in the same shoes as we are, it makes us feel not alone."

Why your support is essential

It provides the essential day-to-day items

Being away from home, with a sick child can be devastating emotionally and financially.

By raising $35, you can allow a family to experience the comforts of home by providing household essentials and fresh linens through their stay at the House.

It provides a warm meal, after a long day

After an exhausting day at the hospital, the last thing on a parents mind should be what to cook for dinner.

By funradraising $57 can help provide a warm, nutritious meal for a family for four, relieving some everyday stress and allowing for more time spent together.

It provides a place to call home, together

When a child is seriously sick or injured, for the wellbeing of the entire family, it is essential that they can stay together.

For $160 a night, you can give a family the peace of mind of knowing that they have a comfortable bed at the end of an exhausting day, support for siblings and so much more.
