Donations and Regular Giving
By donating to Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney (RMHC GWS), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Definitions
1.1 "Donor", "you", "your" means the person, business, organisation, company or other entity which is donating funds to RHMC GWS.
1.2 "Donation" includes one-off donations and donations made on an ongoing basis for an amount agreed by you.
1.3 "Failed Payment" means a Donation which failed to process due to insufficient funds or for any other reason except a failure due to incorrect details being provided.
1.4 "RHMC GWS", "we", "us", "our" means Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia Greater Western Sydney ABN 30 540 051 012.

2. Donations and Regular Giving
2.1 These terms and conditions apply in relation to all Donations made to RMHC GWS.
2.2 RMHC GWS will only accept Donations made by credit card.
2.3 RMHC GWS will use services provided by Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd ACN 160 180 343 (Stripe) to process your Donation. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you authorise Stripe to debit the Donation from your credit card.
2.4 It is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient funds on your credit card on the date/s that your Donation is to be debited.
2.5 It is your responsibility to ensure that you have provided RMHC GWS with the correct credit card details. If your credit card details change, it is your responsibility to notify RMHC GWS of those changes.
2.6 You will be liable for any charges from your financial institution or credit card provider arising out of, or in connection with, the Donation, including, but not limited to, any charges in connection with a failed attempt to process the Donation.
2.7 If you have committed to a one-off Donation, we will process your Donation instantly.
2.8 If you have committed to an ongoing Donation, your Donation will be processed every four (4) weeks from the date of your first donation.
2.9 Once your Donation has been processed, the funds may take 2 - 3 days to clear from your account.

3. Data and Privacy
3.1 When you make a Donation, we will store the following information about you:
(a) your name;
(b) your phone number;
(c) your email address;
(d) the amount of money that you have Donated and / or will Donate; and
(e) the frequency with which you will Donate,
collectively referred to in these terms and conditions as Personal Information.
3.2 We will not store your credit card information.
3.3 RMHC GWS will store your Personal Information as long as necessarily required.
3.4 RMHC GWS does not sell or share your Personal Information with marketers or unaffiliated third parties.
3.5 RMHC GWS may share your Personal Information with affiliated third parties, but only for the purpose of storing your Personal Information, facilitating the Donation or processing the Donation.
3.6 From time to time, we may contact you by email communication or telephone in relation to your Donation. We may also contact you if one of the following circumstances arises:
(a) your Donation results in a Failed Payment; or
(b) your credit card details are incorrect.
3.7 These terms and conditions are subject to our Privacy Policy.

4. Failed Payments
4.1 You will be liable for any charges from your financial institution or credit card provider that may be charged as a result of a Failed Payment.
4.2 If your Donation results in a Failed Payment, RMHC GWS, through Stripe, will continue to attempt to debit your credit card for a period of 21 days following the date of a Failed Payment.
4.3 If after 21 days following the date of a Failed Payment, your Donation is not processed successfully, we will automatically cancel your Donation.

5. Cancelling and Amending your Donation
5.1 RMHC GWS may amend your Donation frequency or dates of payment, but not the Donation amount (unless agreed by you), at any time by giving you at least 14 days' notice.
5.2 You may cancel or amend your Donation at any time.
5.3 If you wish to cancel or amend your Donation, you may do so by calling RMHC GWS on 02 9806 7127 to request to either cancel or amend your Donation (Request).
5.4 RMHC GWS may take up to 14 days from the date of the Request to process the Request.
5.5 RMHC GWS will issue a confirmation email to confirm that your Request has been processed. . You should retain that email confirmation in the event that you need to correspond with us at a later date regarding the content of that email confirmation.

6. Refunds
6.1 RMHC GWS will only issue a refund for Donations processed within 14 days prior to the request for a refund.
6.2 If you wish to request a refund, you may do so by calling RMHC GWS on 02 9806 7127.
6.3 RMHC GWS may take up to 14 days from the date of the Request to process the Request.
6.4 All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. The credit card used to make the Donation will be credited with the refund. Please allow 3 - 5 days for any refunds to be credited to the relevant account.

7. Dispute Resolution
7.1 If an event arises which you would like to dispute, you may do so by calling RMHC GWS on 02 9806 7127 and providing details of your dispute.
7.2 We will endeavor to respond to any disputes within a reasonable time and we will attempt to resolve the dispute in the first instance.
7.3 If we cannot resolve your dispute, you may refer your dispute to the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission or to your financial institution.
