Meet Dallas

Dallas' family first called Ronald McDonald House their home-away-from-home when his mum Joelene was 20 weeks pregnant and learnt that Dallas had multiple life-threatening heart conditions.

With their hometown 552km away in Leeton NSW, Dallas (now one), his parents and two big sisters recently returned home after staying at our Westmead House for 474 nights while their baby boy received the critical treatment he needs.

"This house means everything to us. Not only is it Dallas' first home but it's a safe place for all of us to be close to Dallas during his times in hospital. We have so much appreciation for Ronald McDonald House and all that they do for us"

 - Joelene, Dallas' mum

How your support can make an impact

Much more than accommodation

Our House in Westmead is more than just a place to stay. It provides a welcome and safe space, with nutritious meals, home comforts and holistic support.

Hospitality Carts - bedside care

Our Hospitality Carts in Nepean and Campbelltown Hospital bring comfort to the NICU and Children’s wards in the form of 'Body Boosters' and 'Boredom Busters'.

Respite within the hospital

Supporting families with a space to rest, recharge and care for themselves, moments away from their child's bedside. Our Family Room in Nepean Hospital is due to reopen in 2026.

Educational support

Learning programs and educational support for sick kids and their siblings whose schooling have been disrupted by Hospital stays.

Thank you to our generous supporters
