This February, we are celebrating FIVE years of love at our newest home-away-from-home.
That's five years of warm meals at night, in-house education support, a network of support for families, a safe environment that's a short walk to the Children's Hospital and of bright fun times through challenging times.
Most importantly, this is five years of supporting 60 families a night
when they need it most.
To ensure that we can continue to support families for another five years and beyond, we're asking for your support. Whether it is holding a Five Years of Love fundraiser or making a donation, every dollar counts.
So, will you help support us to celebrate Five Years of Love?

Support sick and injured kids like...
When Grace was just seven months old, she was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer. For the next nine months, she called Ronald McDonald House home.
Grace was one of the first children to stay at the House. She learnt to crawl, walk and has celebrated her own birthday here.
Grace who is now seven-years-old still visits her home-away-from-home every six months for a check up.
"The new House was what we needed. It's bright, colourful, homely, friendly and it's full all the time. Even though Ronald McDonald House offers a bed, it offers a warm heart, a good cup of coffee and someone to talk to" - Grace's Mum, Sarah
Oscar was just 6-years old when he was first diganosed with a very rare bone tumour.
He is now 11 years old and needs regular visits to Westmead hospital from his home in Canberra to receive surgeries and infusions used to fight his tumours.
"Ronald McDonald House is our sanctuary. It's where our family can be present together without having the added stress of being separated by hundreds of kilometres." - Michelle, Oscar's Mum
Young Connor was born at 33 weeks, and after just 16 hours of entering the world, he had stopped breathing and was placed on life support.
Connor never opened his bowel like babies are supposed which led to multiple surgeries and many hospital visits.
Amongst all of the hospital visits, Connor and his family have celebrated many joyous occasions since their first visit to the House in 2019, including Connor's 3rd birthday.
"Being able to keep our family close has a major impact on all of us and makes each day just that bit easier. Without RMHC I can’t imagine how much harder it would be so thank you from all of us from the bottom of our heart" -Whitney, Connors Mum
How it works
1. Gift a donation in honour of our birthday
2. Add your name to your balloon
Once you make your donation or sign up for a fundraiser, your name will be added to the birthday wall of balloons in the House to celebrate! It will also appear on our virtual birthday wall, alongside your birthday wishes.
3. Support even more families who rely on the House
Your support will ensure that into the future, families with a seriously sick or injured child have a place to call their home-away-from-home when they need it the most.
Keeping families close over the years
Camperdown House
We are proud to be the first Ronald McDonald House in Australia, established in 1981 in Camperdown.
The House had 11 rooms and provided much-needed support to families with a seriously ill child for 15 years.
Westmead House
In 1995, the Children's Hospital moved to Greater Western Sydney and to ensure the continued support of families, we relocated.
The new House in Westmead was a much larger 18-room facility, a moments notice from the Hospital.
The House that Love Built
To accommmodate the ever changing needs of families, five years ago, we were able to build a purpose-built facility facility in Westmead.
Our Birthday Wall,
