Cycle and make a difference for Sick Kids
Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney supports over 1,600 families each year from regional and rural Australia. They travel great distances and spend a lot of time away from home to receive the critical treatment their child requires.
Our house at Westmead is a home-away-from-home for 60 families each night who each travel over 100km to receive the critical care their child requires. RMHC GWS provides critical support to families, alleviating their financial and emotional burden, through the provision of essential services such as accommodation, home-cooked meals, in-house counselling and educational support. RMHC GWS also serve families on ward with our Hospitality Carts located in Nepean Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital.
By taking part in The Big Spin, you'll help provide valuable family-centered care that plays an important role for families while their child receives treatment. Your support will help to provide much needed emotional and practical support that reduces the stress and costs to families while improving their ability to cope.

Meet Dallas
Dallas' family first called Ronald McDonald House their home-away-from-home when his mum Joelene was 20 weeks pregnant, and found that Dallas was diagnosed with multiple heart conditions. Dallas and his mum dad and two sisters, are 552km from their hometown in Leeton NSW, so that Dallas can continue to receive the critical treatment he requires.
"This house means everything to us. Not only is it Dallas's first home but it's a safe place for all of us to be close to Dallas during his times in hospital. We have so much appreciation for Ronald McDonald house and all that they do for us"
-Joelene, Dallas' mum
By taking part in The Big Spin, you're making an everlasting impact on the lives of families of seriously sick and injured kids. Thank you!
